Fun at the beach

Mum tries to get us both outside whenever there is a break in the wintery wet weather. This afternoon we spent an hour at the beach/playground. Lucy and I enjoyed the swings but Lucy spent most of the time eating - Mum had to keep giving her crackers to stop her eating the twigs and shells! I had fun walking and jumping on the rocks but did stop for long enough to have a quick cracker with Lucy.

Nana - note the jersey/hat combo. Looks great on Lucy don't you think!

Rock rock rock the snail...

Lucy follows in Jack's footsteps and enjoys the rocking snail at the library. At least it stops her chewing the library books for a little while!

Fingerfood

I'm learning how to eat fingerfood. I generally have fun trying and particularly enjoy making a big mess.

This is my mouth - right?

Mandarin is easy to hold and good for making a mess...

Sometimes I miss the food and bite my hand - ouch! Mum (and the whole neighbourhood) knows about it when I do that!!

So then I try the hands-free approach...

Meow

Lucy tries to escape through the catflap!

The "eyes" have it!

Our new playroom

Mum and Dad added windows to the deck off my bedroom and so now I have my very own playroom - well mine and Lucy's. It's awesome! And I've learnt how to unlock and open the sliding door so I have access 24/7!

Storytime with Jack

Lucy loves to spend time in my room and occasionally sits still for long enough for me to read her a sentence from one of my books!

More teethmarks!

Lucy has started adding teethmarks to Jack's collection...
