A gorgeous winter day

It was cold but we put on our woolly hats and kept ourselves warm by playing on the playground (Lucy trying to do whatever I did) and "scootering" and biking around the lake at Western Springs.







After such a busy morning, who would say no to a catnap on the drive home??

It is quite amazing how much fun can be had with a bunch of autumn leaves!

Our two don't believe in quiet time before bed and love to roll about on the couch kicking and cuddling each other ..

Lucy's first proper haircut

Lucy's hair is still fairly sparse but it was looking a little tatty so we decided to pay a visit to a local hairdresser. Lucy was a dream client and sat still and quiet...very different to her brother who still wriggles and squirms!

A weekend in Taupo

We spent a fun long weekend in Taupo way back in mid-May (yes Mum has been slack with updates). It was a wet weekend but Nana and Grandad kept us pretty busy. We found 2 new friends for Grandad's goldfish - Goldie (named by Grandad) and Blackie-Goldie (named by Jack after Grandad named his fish!)...
