Marshwood Christmas Party

Jack had his preschool Christmas party last Saturday. He didn't want his face painted (no real surprise there) but was happy to have a chat with Santa.




Lucy was very happy to become a beautiful butterfly.





And after 2 previous encounters with Santa where she screamed and didn't want a bar of it, she appears to have twigged that sitting on Santa's knee = present and she happily sat on Santa's knee to collect hers!

Sun Shade

The parachute makes a great sun shade for the trampoline!

A trip to Santa's Grotto

It was a long wait to see Santa but the enchanted forest made it all worthwhile. We loved seeing the elves making presents, the "treematic treecycler" and we wrote and posted a letter to Santa telling him what we wanted for Christmas. I asked for Bill, bubbles and a book, Lucy wasn't sure what she wanted!



We got to meet Santa too. I was a little bit shy but quietly told Santa what I wanted and he reckoned that I'd be able to get some bubbles! Lucy didn't want to talk to Santa at all!!

Playgroup

Music and bubbles with Angie is fun...



but morning tea is the best part. Especially with my buddy Aydan sitting beside me and passing me all the good stuff!

Crash

Lucy has learnt that doing a wheelie while Jack is on the back is not such a good idea...

THE best tracks ever

Of course motorised Thomas, and his friends, needed a fabulous track to drive along. Even Lucy was very careful where she stepped with this one!

Sleep

Because our two "darlings" have such a delightful habit of waking around 5.30 most mornings they both often get tired during the day. Thankfully they are not fussy about where they sleep...

Butterfly Creek

We had a fun morning at Butterfly Creek seeing the butterflies (obviously), the crocs and the gators, the farm animals and tractor and of course a ride on the train.

Train Tracks now require...

a forest, a village and a helipad....

A new room and a big bed

Lucy has moved downstairs in the room next to Jack and into a big bed. And both Jack and Lucy are getting pretty good at waiting in bed until the light comes on (6am!) and then playing downstairs together once the light has come on.
