Playgroup Fun
Nana came with us to playgroup this week and, while Lucy was practising her drumming, I helped Nana make a pretty bird to hang on my window. It was great fun.

More bath fun
Bathtime remains a favourite time of the day for J&L. Lucy is very slowly learning the "if you stand up then you get out" rule and that is how bathtime usually ends for her! Jack is still mad keen on making long funny words and is trying to teach Lucy how to read...

Happy Fathers Day Daddy
We gave Daddy our hand prints for fathers day - what good messy fun that was!!
And we had a fun brunch with Ryan, Jemma, Harry, Josie and Audrey and their Mummys and Daddys. Thanks Sarah and Andy.

A trip to the zoo
The last day of winter was a gorgeous day and so Lucy and I went to the zoo with Nana, Grandad, Mummy and Daddy. The animals were in fine form - as well as all the usual crowd we saw three tiger cubs and the hippos were out of the mud!

Our winter holiday - Taupo
I was so exicted when I got to Taupo that I forgot to sleep in - my memory is really bad when it comes to remembering to do that!! Anyhow at least Mum and Dad got to enjoy a nice sunrise...
And it also meant we got to the pools nice and early, in fact we were the first people in the pool and had the slides all to ourselves.
Dad went out fishing one afternoon and Mum took me and Lucy to feed the ducks. Mum gave Lucy a card to play with but Lucy thought that the bread I was feeding the ducks was for her and nabbed a piece. She got a bit of a shock when the duck took it straight out of her fingers...
Thankfully the ducks couldn't reach Lucy's fingers on the swings!
