Lucy's fairy birthday party
Lucy had a lovely birthday party with her friends. The extra special birthday treat was a visit from Fairy Livy!

We had a great day at Oli's place on Waiheke during the school holidays. Just magic!
Lucy turns 4!
Lucy had a lovely birthday. She loved her card and fairy dress from "Fairy Rainbow"...
And she loved Jack's card (especially the bunny rabbit) and "smelly" strawberry shortcake doll. Jack chose it because he knows how much Lucy loves smelling!
It is great having a big brother to read the birthday books!
After presents, there was fun at the playground and then Nicholas arrived in time for cupcakes - yum!

Taupo
Nana and Grandad got sick of looking after the grandkids so put them out of reach and hearing...
Of course, they really had a fun time in Taupo and Paula and I had a peaceful trip home...
(this is the only time Lucy could get away with encroaching on Nicholas' space!)

Jack and Ben's Alien Party
Jack had a great joint "alien" birthday party with his mate Ben.
There were some scary aliens...
Pin the eye on the alien was a big hit...
As was the lolly meteor shower...
And it was awesome to have the Aunties and Uncles together again!

Happy Birthday Jack
Jack had a fun birthday day. The morning started with presents - the one day of the year when it is useful to have an early riser!!
Then Lucy and Mum picked up Jack (and Coconut!) at lunchtime and we had sushi at the beach. Coconut likes salmon!
We spent the afternoon at another playground...
...and then met Dad for fish n chips. Yum!
The funniest part of the day was when Dad sang the silly room 16 happy birthday song (happy birthday to you, stick your head down the loo, it may sound disgusting but it's healthy for you!)
