Jack favours the comfy sofa but Lucy prefers to drag a stool over to the side wall and peer over top!
Jack's holiday with Nana and Grandad
During the last school holidays, I had a special treat.
First of all, Nana met me and Lucy and Mummy in Hamilton and we all had a play on the playground.

Then Lucy went home with Mum and Nana took me home to Taupo and I stayed with Nana and Grandad ALL BY MYSELF. It was so much fun. Nana and I went to a special "Thomas" session at the library, and to a Funky Monkeys concert (my very first concert!). Grandad and I did lots of chores in the garden. And we all went for play at the playground and a train ride.

Mum and Dad and Lucy came down in the weekend and we had lots of fun then too. A swim at the pools, a ride on a flying fox and another train ride.

Grandad had fixed up Mummy's old dolls cradle and Lucy loved playing with it - and also tried (and still does) having a nap with the dollies!

Sleepy Jack
Fun with Zac and Mia
We've had lots of fun with Zac and Mia lately. First a trip to the museum where Zac and I found a really cool train that goes into the treehouse. We actually had more fun mucking around outside on the steps in the sun while Mum and Philippa gossiped!

And then a few days later, we caught a train into the city and a ferry over to Devonport and met up with Zac and Mia at the playground. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun together that when we left Philippa, Zac and Mia left with us - we all caught the ferry back to the city and had yummy scrummy gelato ice-cream. Delicious!

(hard to believe there is only 6 months between the boys!)

Lucy's first plane ride...
took us to see Uncle Stephen and Aunty Roshanna in Wellington. The plane trip was fun despite Lucy missing her day sleep...

The cable car museum was neat...

the cable car ride even better...

but the brochure seemed to be the real attraction!

Lucy enjoyed her ride in the glass elevator...

Jack loved playing the "ducky game" with Uncle Stephen, especially making the ducky jump in the air...

And, of course, we had to visit Mack's Tracks!

We took a train into the city (through SEVEN tunnels!) and had a walk around parliament. Lucy was excited by her swishy stick and Jack by his train ticket.

Story time with Roshanna was also a big hit.

Thanks for a great weekend Steve and Roshanna.
