Mealtimes with nana and grandad

Nana was first up on feeding duties and I think she mistook my eye for my mouth. The next day was grandad's turn and after a pea ended up on my forehead, he gave in and painted my whole face with pumpkin! It was fun anyhow!

Tall & Wild or Short & Angelic??

At 10 months old, I am now so tall that my 3-6 month PP jeans are just the perfect length! My hair remains wild, although some have commented that it looks like I have a halo - judge for yourself...

My first plane ride

I don't have a passport yet but at least I have now been on a plane. Dad had a meeting in Wellington and so mum and I tagged along for a long weekend. The plane trips were fun, and dad kept me entertained with the help of teddy. Wellington was pretty cool. I went on my first cable car ride, although I don't remember it for some reason (zzzzzz), and had fun at Te Papa with mum while dad was working. I enjoyed myself so much that I was very good and let mum and dad have a dinner out at Cafe Bastille (mum says fab onion soup) while I slept quietly in my buggy.

10 months old and 2 teeth to show for it...

Well I've lasted through winter so far without too many problems - as you can see mum has been keeping me warm in my fancy long johns. I started crawling properly on the 5th of June - just in time for daddy to see before he started work. Not having daddy at home all day was a bit of a shock for me at first but now I'm pretty used to it and quite happily wave him out the door in the morning. Sometimes we go swimming at lunch time, but usually I see him in time for my bath at night. I got my first tooth on the 25th of July and my second one a few days later. I haven't really discovered what I can do with these yet but will no doubt soon be tearing apart books and toys. My crawling is going really well - occasionally mum opens the safety gate which means I can crawl all the way up the steps to my bedroom. I haven't quite worked out how to go down steps yet though so I generally stay on the flat. Mum brings home lots of different toys for me from the toy library. I especially like the ones that play music - I like bopping along to it and shrugging my shoulders up and down.



Not the cleanest eater...
