Day sleeps

I pretty much gave up my day sleeps during the holidays, but every now and again I found a spot too relaxing to resist a little catnap...

The last few days of 2008...

were spent at Pukehina. We had great fun -

feeding the chickens...

riding the bike...

eating...

bathing...

playing with Nicholas...

doing the 6.15 nudey run down to the bottom of the section and back...

practising surfing...

catching up with old friends...

looking cute...

enjoying the view...

and, of course, playing with the trains...

Christmas Day

After checking that Santa and the reindeers had been - there were some cookie crumbs, an empty beer bottle and a little bit of water in the bowl - I had to be reminded to check my stocking?!! I must have been a good boy!

Check out the gorgeous outfit Nana made for Lucy...

Aunty Paula, Uncle Brendhan and Nicholas arrived and (after helping Granddad pick the peas) we all had a yummy Christmas lunch. Thanks Nana!

Then I helped Daddy put up the tent which was my bedroom for most of the holiday. It was great fun sleeping and playing in the tent.

And some more shots from Christmas Day...

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve day in Hamilton with the Trotter/Morgan families. It was lovely to catch up with everyone again and we were very spoiled with wonderful christmas presents...

including some Thomas gifts. I was so happy!

We went to Pukehina for the evening and of course I remembered to leave food and drink for Santa Claus and the reindeers!

A belated pre-Christmas update...

Wow Mum has been slack. It's been over 2 months since the last post so we have to skip back in time a bit to mid Dec.

A 1 year old and a Christmas tree with decorations??? Of course, it couldn't last. The snowman no longer has a carrot for a nose...

The vege garden is growing strong - here I am enjoying my first spring onion! Yum!

Daddy came to a fish n chips night at Small Miracles and they gave him this picture that I drew of him. Mum didn't believe that I could have drawn such a good picture so I did a repeat performance at home. Pretty life like don't you think?

This is what happens when Mum puts the furniture in the bath in order to mop the floor..
