Continuing on from the end of '08, we spent the first couple of weeks of '09 at Pukehina with Nana and Granddad.
Lucy continued to enjoy watching the view ... and if there was a penguin sprinkler to chew on while watching, then that was an added bonus!

I spent every day in the water with daddy, playing "creeping creeping" with the waves and jumping the whoppas and the double whammies.

Lucy enjoyed her first ice-cream on the deck. It took her a little while to get the hang of it - but as you'll see later, she's a pretty fast learner.

Lucy finally fits the dresses that Aunty Paula gave her when she was born, and isn't this one cute!

Nicholas was still around to play with for a couple of days - and we all managed to fit in a photo frame for one second...

Nicholas also experienced Nana's homemade ice-cream, although he had a little beggar (or "scavenger" as Granddad calls her) hanging around. Lucy eventually got her own and, as you can see, she has learnt how to eat ice-creams!!

Kate and Hannah came to play with us for a day and Kate and I had great fun on the slippery slide...

Lucy thought the slippery slide was good for rolling balls down!

Some days were pretty full on and every now and again I just had to stop and rest my head on the couch...

Daddy took us to a strawberry farm one morning. I like raspberries and blueberries best but Lucy looooved the strawberries!

After the trip to the strawberry farm, Daddy had to go back to work so Nana and Granddad came to meet us to take Mummy, Lucy and I back to Pukehina. This is me waiting for them...
