My re-decorated playhouse

Today Mum and Dad saw my little brother or sister! Personally, I think he or she looks a little weird - lots of bumps, a funny colour and a long tubey thing hanging of his or her tummy. I don't get to meet him or her until October but that's okay as I get Mum and Dad to myself until then!

Easter Fun

I had my best Easter ever! We went up to Paihia with Uncle Justin and Aunty Lisa and I had a great time. I thought I'd test Uncle Justin's temper by waking him up at 5.30 the first morning but seeing as he was the only one brave enough to try out the pool with me later that afternoon I let him sleep in until about 6.30 the other mornings - kind of me eh! Aunty Lisa didn't get any peace either as I decided that she was my favourite for the weekend and I didn't leave her alone - I even took my first steps walking towards her!! We did lots of day trips - to Waitangi, Kerikeri and Russell. On the way home we spent a day/night in Tutukaka - what a beautiful spot! Of course the best part of the weekend was the chocolate and the special easter pancakes...

The rest of March

Sorry all, Mum's been a bit slack lately. I think early March was the last update and, to be honest, I don't really remember much of the rest of that month. Mum was feeling pretty lousy (more on that later) and so we took it pretty easy I think. I do remember Uncle Justin popping over a few afternoons when he was having "quiet time" at work. That was real fun - I like it when he looks after me 'cos I can basically do whatever I want...

I also remember a day trip to Long Beach with Uncle Justin and Aunty Lisa. That was lots of fun - I went for a walk on the beach, had a train ride and Aunty Lisa taught me to say "ewwwww yuk!" although I think she regrets it now as everytime someone says "Aunty Lisa", I say "ewwwww yuk!"
